About HVAC in Hamilton

A local referral service that puts homeowners in touch with licensed heating and cooling contractors across Hamilton, Burlington, Haldimand and the surrounding counties.

HVAC in Hamilton is a free referral service for homeowners who need heating, cooling or hot water work. You tell us what you need, where the house is and how soon, and we pass the request to one licensed contractor who works in your area. The contractor contacts you, quotes the job and does the work.

Why it exists

Search for a furnace company in Hamilton and you get a page of national rental brands, directory lists and companies based in Toronto or Mississauga. The good local contractors are there, but they are hard to tell apart, and when the furnace quits on a January night nobody wants to make six calls.

This site does two things. It explains heating and cooling plainly, with real Ontario prices, real rebate rules and the questions worth asking before you sign. And it gets your request to the right local contractor quickly.

What we are, and what we are not

  • We are a referral service. We do not employ technicians, sell equipment or install anything ourselves.
  • We are free for homeowners. Contractors pay us for the introductions; that never changes your price.
  • We only refer to contractors who hold the certificates the job needs: TSSA gas technician certificates for anything that burns gas, propane or oil, and Ontario refrigeration and air conditioning licences for AC and heat pump work.
  • We are not a utility, a rental company or a rebate program. Rebates are applied for through the program itself, usually with your contractor’s help.

Where we work
